Junior Developer
The first step onto the full court after Green ball. Strokes, serve and rally skills.
Junior Developer is for the player who has come through the Green Hot Shots stage and is ready for the full court and a standard ball.
At this level players are developing a basic competency with all their strokes: forehand, backhand, volley and overhead. A big part of the hour goes into learning and developing the serve, and into rallying consistently from the baseline.
Groups are capped at six so every player gets plenty of hitting and plenty of feedback. Sessions run Monday and Thursday afternoons or Saturday morning, and are paid by term account.
When strokes are reliable and rallies are holding up, players step up to Junior Improver.
